I Love this place. Food is amazing, I always over order so that I can have leftovers, staff is very friendly.
Food was just okay, but the customer service was great! They only do push carts on the weekends, but you can still order other dim sum items by asking them.
We have been here once before and over all the food is really good!!! Service was ok also making everything hot and fresh!!! Ambiance is good a real Nice place !! It is alil pricey but saying that I would also say we had enough food to take home and have another complete meal lol!! So if you want dim sum or just really good Chinese food ! Try this place out!! I will put up a couple of pix!!
Food: Dim Sum! Best and only one in town! All day Dim sum Service: Also great! Call them raise your hand it's ok! Ambiance: nice Chinese restaurant! Cleaned! Bathroom needs a lot of work though! Overall: If you are craving for Dim Sum in Stockton, this is the only place to go to! Great food!
This place has been a favorite of mines since I found out they had "salted fish fried rice with chopped chicken" So far I only know of 4 restaurants in Stockton that has that dish but Dynasty makes the best one. I normally order that with Chinese broccoli on top of the rice. The fried rice is cooked perfectly, with the salted fish being perfectly prepared! Every time I come in, the server recognizes me and automatically welcomes me in, seats me, have a casual conversation with me, and asks me if I will have the usual dish. She remembers every time! The restaurant gets pretty busy because they have so much going on, but I love how my server always checks up on me and ask if I'm okay. The restaurant has been one of the few Chinese restaurants that I will eat at because I only dine in at "ethnic" and "authentic" Chinese restaurants. The ambiance has a some character to it as well. I will be gladly coming back for my salty fish fried rice and occasionally some dim sum!
Grabbed lunch today at Dynasty and it was great! My last experience - take out food from Dynasty several years ago during Covid - was not as great. This recent visit made up for the last visit with its food flavor and freshness. We've been going to Dynasty for more than 20 years. They changed ownership several years ago but they still have staff that treat you well and remember your name when you come in (Hello Wendy!). We usually go for dimsum and a little something from the menu. Hubby ordered chicken with black bean sauce. He liked it so much that that he ordered a cod filet in black bean sauce, veggie egg roll, fried rice with a little chow mein to go! I ordered Chinese broccoli, pan fried turnip cake, tofu wrapped and meat stuffed bamboo shoot rolls and sticky rice shrimp balls. All very delicious! Not too salty. We might have ordered too much as we had alot to take home! We would have ordered more except there was only two of us. Usually when our family is with us and its on a weekend, we also usually also order pepper salted ribs, pork barbeque buns, shrimp noodles (dimsum), and steamed sole filet fish in a ginger tasting sauce - our usual, tried and tested go to food choices. I like that its easy to find parking and that its also close to 85 degree bakery where we sometimes pickup a pastry and desserts to go.
This place has been a family favorite and continues to be. Ate here for the first time in a while for a New Year's Day lunch with the fam. As always, service was great and so was the food. I will always return to satisfy my dim sum craving.
I was in Stockton, and had a hankering for Chinese food. This place was just down the street from where I was, and yelp said it was good. It was. The place was bright and clean, and had a nice atmosphere. Everybody was very friendly. The menu is very large, but I decided to go for the rice porridge which I really like. I had the sampan porridge, which was rice porridge with seafood and meat. The rice porridge was very good, but there were only small pieces of seafood and meat in the porridge. I wish that there would've been more. It also came with a bowl of peanuts, scallions, and rice noodles. They were a nice addition to the porridge, and added flavor, and a nice crunch, It was a very large bowl of the porridge, and it was a reasonable price. The meal came with a pot of hot tea, which was also very good. I would like to come back to try more of the items on the menu. Thank you!
11/19/23 - Last Sunday I stopped in to get some pork buns. Safeway didn't have any. I don't like my pork buns to have that crunchy taste, meaning: like potato chips. I am very careful with pork products. I have been told that when pork is too crunchy it's either old or has too much fat on it!! The pork buns were made fresh as I was waiting. Four pork buns was $6.00+ so $2.00 each plus tax; not bad, and they were good!!! Now, since that have me interested I will try their Dim Sum one Sunday. Happy Thanksgiving weekend, Everyone!!!
